JGS1 is an Ultraviolet Grade Fused Silica crystal suitable for a variety of uses including Laser, Lenses, Windows, Prisms and mirrors. With low thermal expansion and high transparency in both the visible and ultraviolet spectrums, JGS1 is ideal for applications that require light transmission at normal temperatures. Due to the particle structure, it reaches a strong absorption peak at 2730nm with high transmission and no absorption band from 185 to 2500nm. Following is a matrix of standard JGS1 wafer specifications which are either in stock or can be produced with minimal lead time. Our wafers are inspected and packed in a Class 100 Clean Room and certified to the listed specifications. If you don’t find a product meeting your needs, please contact us and provide your required specifications. Where appropriate, please use an existing Item Number and describe required exceptions.
