JGS2 is an Optical Fused Quartz transparent in the UV and Visible spectrum with no absorption band from 200-2500nm. There are absorption peaks (hydroxyl content 100-200ppm) at 2730nm, with stripe and particle structure. Common applications for JGS2 Include high temperature and pressure devices, optical flats, microscope slides and sight glasses. (Download the JGS2 specification pdf from our Resource Center.)
Following is a matrix of standard JGS2 wafer specifications which are either in stock or can be produced with minimal lead time. Our wafers are inspected and packed in a Class 100 Clean Room and certified to the listed specifications. If you don’t find a product meeting your needs, please contact us and provide your required specifications. Where appropriate, please use an existing Item Number and describe required exceptions.
